Highlights in the JV girls meet came from: Dori Selway winning both the 50 butterfly, in a 30.63, and 100 backstroke in 1:11.94. She also led off the winning 200 medley relay and the winning 200 freestyle relay (her leadoff split in the 200 free relay would have been good enough to win the 50 free individual event).

Varsity girls: Francesca Lin had a great meet, winning the 200 free in a North Coast Section consideration time of 1:56.25 (eight one-hundredths off the automatic qualifying time). She also led off the winning 400 free relay team of Lin, Elayna Ling, Rylee Hutchinson and Lillyana Caples. Their time of 3:44.35 is an NCS automatic qualifying time.

Varsity boys: Oryan Liu won the 100 fly in an NCS consideration time of 52.33 and he led a 1-2-3 sweep of the 500 free in a time of 4:42.87 (NCS automatic qualifying time), Christopher Wang was second and Tyler Liu was third (both achieving NCS consideration times). Oryan Liu also anchored the winning 400 free relay which included Cade Vieler, Kealan Tupper and Christopher Wang.

Baseball and softball underway

The Dons and the Falcons are both sending out solid baseball and softball teams this season.

Through the first four games, Aaron Soloman is hitting .538, with Gavin Whalley at .500 and Vince Maiorana hitting .467. The early leader in pitching has been Brennan Baptist at 2-0 with a 1.50 ERA, and 12 strikeouts in 14 innings pitched.

In softball is the defending NCS and CIF title-holders Amador. The Dons are top in the Power Rankings and have dropped a pair of one-run losses to solid programs.

McKenna Charbonneau and Mia Falcone are both hitting .500 at this point in the season, with Charbonneau blasting four home runs already.

Kaylee Davis has been tough in the circle with a 3-1 mark and a 1.98 ERA.
