Caltrans has announced work and associated road closures on a portion of Interstate 680 that will lead to a closure of the southbound on-ramp from El Cerro Boulevard for a full workday Thursday.
The on-ramp will be fully closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday (Feb. 5) in order to complete the project, weather and other factors permitting.
Caltrans is advising drivers to use alternative entrances to I-680 such as on Stone Valley or Sycamore Valley roads.
“Caltrans appreciates the public’s patience during this essential safety work,” officials said in an announcement Tuesday.
