The Bay East Association of Realtors recently ushered in its 2024 leadership team during its annual installation ceremony, with Barbara Clemons taking the reins as president for the year.

Clemons, of Coldwell Banker Realty in Pleasanton, has more than 15 years of professional real estate experience and sits on Bay East’s Executive, Local Government Relations, Political Activities, and Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Action committees. She also serves on the California Association of Realtors’ Board of Directors and is actively involved with the Women’s Council of Realtors.

“Clemons’s focus for 2024 will be promoting the Bay East core values: communication, integrity, vision, innovation and leadership and helping Bay East members succeed,” association officials said in a press release after the January installation. 

Joining Clemons as 2024 officers are president-elect Tracey Esling, Legacy Real Estate and Associates, Livermore; treasurer Bill Espinola, Parkview Realty, Hayward; past-president Steve Medeiros, Realty Experts, Fremont, and CEO Tricia Thomas. 

The association’s Board of Directors this year includes Janella Anguiano, Century 21 Real Estate Alliance, Castro Valley; Viviana Cherman, Elation Real Estate, Pleasanton; Don Faught, Compass, Pleasanton; DeeDee French, Legacy Real Estate and Associates, Livermore; Alison Hull, Realty Experts, Fremont; Diane Johansen, Re/MAX Accord, Castro Valley; broker Delores “Dee” Johnson; and Joseph LoParo, KW Advisors, Alameda.

The rest of the board features Sharon Mancillas, KW Advisors, Alameda; Kevin McCallum, Legacy Real Estate and Associates, Livermore; Simi Puri, Keller Williams Realty, Danville; Frank Quismorio, Realty Experts, Fremont; Geraldine Ramirez, Bay City Real Estate Group, Pleasanton; Paul Wong, Coldwell Banker Realty, Oakland; and Garrick Yan, EXP Realty of California, San Ramon – along with platinum affiliate director Trevor Frey, Supreme Lending, Brentwood and parliamentarian Nancie Allen, Compass, Fremont.

Based in Pleasanton with a satellite office in Alameda, Bay East is a professional trade organization representing and supporting more than 6,000 residential and commercial Realtors and affiliates throughout the East Bay.
